Wondering what you should have looked at during a home inspection?
  • Structural: Walls, ceilings, roof, foundation, etc.
  • Exterior: Landscaping, grading, elevation, drainage, doors, lights, windows, etc.
  • Plumbing: Portable, drain, vent pipes, toilets, showers, sinks, traps, faucets, etc.
  • Systems: Water heaters, air conditioning, duct work, chimney, etc.
  • Appliances: Garbage disposal, smoke detectors, dishwasher, range, oven, etc.
  • Garage: Openers, door, firewall, entry, walls, ceilings, etc.
  • Electrical: Ceiling fans, light fixtures, circuit breakers, wiring, grounding, etc.

Items that should be noted are:
  • Deficiencies in the foundation
  • Issues with moisture and drainage
  • Heating and cooling malfunctions
  • Roofing systems with a short life expectancy
